We have a tie!

The results of the election are in and we have an even split between keeping the mustache and shaving it off, so in the spirit of democracy, I found a compromise that both sides can support.

Not really.

Actually, to prove that I haven’t lost my sense of humor, I took these pictures a few days ago to send to the family and now I’ll share them with you.

Although the voting was rather lopsided, what spelled the demise of the “stache” was the fact that I found myself pulling at throughout the day and that I had to constantly groom it to keep from looking very cheesy. It’s easier to just shave it clean every morning than to clip it.

Rest assured that I have shaved all of it off before going into work.

:-)

Hey Bill,
Glad you are feeling better and glad you shaved the stache. I guess since it was a tie, I don't have to do the "Carlton Dance" for everyone. Thanks for the great story - take care and stay safe.
Holly and family :)

Oh no, Holly, you don't get out of it that easily! Your offer must have played quite a role in the outcome, so we'll still be expecting your dance for the entertainment at Bill's promotion party in the fall!

Love ya, girl!

Hi Bill, This is your new relative (?) from Williamsburg. We finally can get you and it's very enjoyable to see. This must be comforting for Joy and the rest of the family. Uncle Ed is golfing right now and I'm waiting for the "bug" man. Such fun. We plan a trip to the Marowski's next month. Time is awasting... families must keep in touch more often. All's well here, thanks to you and all our other heroes. Buushie has done a great job in protecting this country. We will be 1st time grandparents come September and you can only realize how exciting this is to us. Kimberly looks great and Eric is so happy. After the 1st cat scan, his comment was " Knowing you will be a parent and actually seeing this life develop, really brings home the reality of fatherhood". Both are looking forward. I'll be in touch, stay safe. With love, Aunt Mike

Hi Bill, So glad that we can "talk" to you. Keep safe, first of all. We'll be visiting the Marowski's next month and will get to see your family plus Joy. We can't wait! Eric & Kimberly will make us grandparents come September. This is like the "1st miracle"! You would think no one else ever went through this event. By the way, so glad the Mussie is gone! Here comes the Bugman--- will be in touch. Love, the Swartzes
